I love having a salad as a starter, something that is easy to make and tasty at the same time. And I think this Carrot and Sesame Salad recipe is the best so far.


  • 5 carrots ,cleaned and peeled
  • 1 tablespoon coriander seeds, crushed using the crush grinder
  • 5 tablespoons sesame seeds ( fried )
  • the juice and the peel from one orange
  • 1 lemon
  • extra virgin olive oil
  • salt and freshly grounded black pepper

Carrot and Sesame Salad

  1. Cut the carrots into very thin slices or grate them coarsely.
  2. Place them into a salad bowl and add the coriander and the sesame seeds { fry them a little bit of olive oil, until they become brown )
  3. For the sauce, grind the orange skin and add some orange juice, lemon juice. And add olive oil as well. That needs to be 4 times the quantity of the lemon and orange juice. Add this sauce to the carrots and season with salt and pepper.
  4. Serve the Carrot and Sesame Salad right away so that the flavors are more intense .
