Turkish Tepsi Kebab
Tepsi is the Turkish word for “tray”, easy to make and full of flavor. It will definitely impress you and your guests by the way it looks, smells and especially by the way it taste. A combination of beef and lamb meat with fresh parsley, spices, peppers and roasted vegetables on top.

- 1 kg meat (60% beef, 40% lamb)
- 1 bunch of parsley
- 2 peppers red and green
- 3 cloves of garlic
- 1 tbsp cumin
- 1 tbsp paprika
- 1 tsp pepper
- 1 tbsp salt
- 2 tbsp tomato paste
Garnish:
- 3 peppers, red/yellow/green
- 1 red onion
- cherry tomatoes
Step 1
Cut the meat in smaller pieces and put in the meat grinder. Grind the meat 2 times.
Step 2
Finely chop the parsley, peppers and garlic. Place them into a bowl and add the minced meat. Mix with a spoon and add the spices: cumin, paprika, pepper, salt and mix well using your hands.
Step 3
Coat an oven tray with tomato paste and add the meat mixture, press it down with your hands to make a evenly spread layer of meat. Garnish with the 3 peppers, onion and cherry tomatoes. Mix 1 tsp of tomato paste with 2 tbsp of water and sprinkle on top before baking.

Place in the over for 30 minutes at 250C. You know it’s done when veggies on top changed their color and the kitchen smells amazing.
Serve immediately while still warm with some pita bread and tahini with garlic sauce.
